Bridge Construction

1970

Founded as PT Decorient Indonesia by large Dutch contractors (a.o. Hollandsche Beton group). The name Decorient stood for Dutch Engineering and Construction in the Orient.

1977

Interbeton (subsidiary of HBG) acquired majority share of Decorient. The local shareholder (H.E. Kowara) founded AKI (Indonesian Contractors Association) in 1973 and served as its chairman for 10 years.

New Dutch Embassy Compound including Erasmus Huis located at Kuningan, Jakarta was awarded to Decorient.

Kupang - Soe - Kafemenanu Road Construction. A road construction project spanning over 100 kilometers, connecting three cities in East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT).

Coal Loading Facility of Kaltim Prima Coal, Sangatta - East Kalimantan. Design and build of jetty wharf and construction of 1,000 man-camp.

Mattel Toys Factory at Jababeka, followed up with phase 2 and dormitory construction.

An Indonesian civil engineer with a Master's degree from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands (1988). Since 1989, he has led major prominent projects such as Wisma Bank Dharmala Realty, Pondok Club Villas, AT&T, Ascott, and Westin Hotel Surabaya.

Director of Operations

A Dutch engineer with over 25 years of experience. He started his career at Hollandsche Beton Groep (HBG) and was first assigned to Indonesia in 1995 for the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta. His international and local expertise has been key to the company's success.

An Indonesian civil engineer who graduated from UNPAR in 2001. He joined BAM Decorient Indonesia in 2015 with over 10 years of project management experience. His key projects include Unilever Headquarters, Tanjung Jati Unit 5&6 Jetty, and IKEA Jakarta Garden City.
