Steel Erection at Process Building
We started our first erection at Process Building on November 23th 2023 and finished our last erection on December 18, 2023, with total area 156 m x 40 m. Based on our forecast, we had to complete 75% of the steel erection work by the end of December 2023 but we have successfully managed to achieve 100% progress in less than one month.
Our Steel Structure Supervisor, Ahmad Sakowi, said that the steel erection team optimized the column assembly in the evening so the erection process can be done faster in the morning. He also said that Decorient maintained a good communication with the steel structure subcontractor to smoothen the working process. Decorient also carried out Toolbox Meeting twice a day with the steel erection team to give clear instructions and reminding the HSE procedures.
Steel Erection at Bale Storage
We started our first erection at Bale Storage on December 23, 2023 and finished our last erection on January 6, 2024. We finished our steel erection at Bale Storage with approximately 2500 m2 in 2 weeks. We are 3 weeks ahead for our original schedule for steel erection at Bale Storage. There is one more main building with PEB steel structure remaining. We hope for our success in steel erection works at PET Extrusion and Warehouse.
