Splendid design, original materials and fine craftsmanship: amid the high-rise offices and hotels of the Golden Triangle in Jakarta Qatar’s embassy and ambassador’s residence breathe an atmosphere of traditional Qatari design and modern construction skills.

Decorient worked closely together with BAM Higgs & Hill in Qatar to import some of the typically Qatari materials that provide the finishing touch to the embassy’s authentic style.

Scope of work

Construction of the embassy complex with the ambassador’s residence and consular building, boundary wall, entrance gate and guardroom, car parking, hard and soft landscaping and utility connections on a plot of 5,400 square metres. The embassy and consulate building consist of three storeys and a total floor area of approximately 2,500 square metres. The ambassador’s residence comprises two storeys and a total floor area of approximately 2,000 square metres.
