Demolition of the existing US-embassy building, including the earth and piling works and the superstructure for the new Embassy building.

Decorient acted as a subcontractor to BL Harbert International of Birmingham, Alabama, who won the design and build contract of the new US Embassy from the US Department of State – Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations.

Decorient completed its scope of work by first quarter of 2016. New diplomatic facilities totalling 47,000 square meters were constructed on the existing embassy complex. The office complex provides state-of-the-art workspace for approximately 1,300 embassy employees.

The new complex includes a 10-story tower for consular and office space, with an attached residence for Marine security guards, as well as a multi-story car park.
