Onshore civil works for the clinker and cement factory of Holcim, Indonesia’s third largest cement maker. Construction of almost 90 reinforced concrete structures were required for the plant located in Tuban, East Java, Indonesia. These varied from large support constructions (up to 120 metres high) for the process equipment to electrical stations and concrete silos. The largest of the six silos is 80 metres high.

In April 2013 Decorient was awarded a contract for the onshore civil works of the second line of the same cement plant. It took approximately 19 months to finalise this contract for PT ThyssenKrupp Polysius Indonesia, which was the overall contractor responsible for the erection of the new clinker and cement factory for Holcim. The second line comprises the same number and similar structures that Decorient completed in 2013.
