BAM Sells Indonesian Subsidiary BAM International to Management

Februari 11, 2022Jakarta, Indonesia, 09 August 2021 – PT Nestlé Indonesia, a subsidiary of Nestlé S.A. has appointed PT Decorient Partaya Indonesia as the main contractor to deliver the construction of their new plant in Batang, Central Java, Indonesia.
Decorient will deliver a dairy processing plant which includes production building, warehouse, office, and ancillary buildings with total gross floor area of 30,000 sqm on a site of approximately 20 hectares. The plant will be one of the first industrial buildings to be built at the new industrial complex in Central Java, namely Batang Industrial Park.
The new plant is designed by Meinhardt, who will also act as the Engineer for the clients during construction. This will be the fourth Nestlé plant operating in the country.
Nestlé new plant project will take 12 months to complete and partial taking-over to allow for Client’s process equipment installation will happen early next year. Works are currently on-going at site for piling and enabling works by other contractors while Decorient’s mobilization will start on August 9th. As the main contractor, Decorient’s scope of works will be structure, architectural, external works and coordination of the MEP and process equipment packages.
From 1992 to 2003, Decorient was involved in three phases of construction of Nestlé plant in Kejayan, Pasuruan, East Java.
