We are now looking for a Construction Manager who would like to advance their career with a growing company.
Key
Activities
- To coordinate the resources in such a manner to ensure that the works are completed in time and within the budget.
- Input into production and maintenance of construction programmes.
- Shall be fully aware of the Project Quality Plan and Quality Control requirements of the works and shall ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and quality requirements stipulated in the Contract.
- Shall be fully aware of the Project Environmental Plan and environmental requirements pertaining to the execution of the project.
- Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with the Project Environmental Plan and environmental requirements stipulated in the Contract.
- Ensure that all works are in conformance with all contract specifications.
- Resolve engineering matters concerning execution of the project, planning and site queries in cooperation with the Project Engineer, Work Preparation Engineer and Site Engineers.
- Keep the Project Manager informed of all relevant aspects of the construction works, in terms of planning, progress, quality, safety and subcontractor performance.
- Identifies health, safety, environmental and quality risks that construction operations present and make plans to mitigate any impact.
- Ensure all employees including sub-contractors are given instructions on their health, safety environmental and quality responsibilities.
- Ensure plant and equipment used are sufficient to carry out the work, with safety and environmental impacts considered and mitigated where required.
- Additional OH&S responsibilities stated in Project Safety Plan.
Who are we
looking for?
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Construction management, or similar ones.
- Successful previous experience in the role of Construction Manager, with involvement in substantial industrial or high-rise building projects.
- Having a thorough knowledge of contract specifications, planning and budget.
- Having a thorough knowledge of construction processes
- Having a good knowledge of HSES and quality requirements
- Having a good knowledge of materials, equipment and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment, to meet tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across all disciplines.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Open to be located outside Java
