

Decorient has been awarded by Yayasan Satya Bhakti, with the construction of new Santa Ursula school complex in Penajam, East Kalimantan. On the 3 hectares land, the school complex will be built in a few phases. The whole school complex was designed by Han Awal & Partners, led by Architect Yori Antar.
The initiative to build the Santa Ursula School complex is driven by Yayasan Satya Bhakti, an educational foundation established by the Ursuline Order Sisters, who have been dedicated to advancing education in Indonesia. The foundation’s goals for the new school include:
The contract of the first phase consists of a kindergarten/ playgroup building, a hall, and a futsal field with total GFA of 7,600 sqm. The next phase will consist of elementary and middle school buildings. The first phase is targeted for completion by November 2025, with the kindergarten and playgroup building scheduled to welcome students for the new academic year starting in June 2025.
On February 2nd, 2025, a ceremony was held to commence the construction of Santa Ursula School Penajam with the first pile driving. The event started with opening remarks from Sister Monika Lita Hasanah, OSU (Provincial of the Ursuline Order in Indonesia) and a representative from the Acting Regent of North Penajam Paser.
This was followed by a presentation from Mrs. Varani Kosasih (Senior Architect at Han Awal & Partners), remarks from Mr. Arjoto Wisanto (President Director of Decorient), and prayers and blessings led by Mgr. Yustinus Harjosusanto, MSF (Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Samarinda). The ceremony concluded with the symbolic first pile driving.
The Santa Ursula School complex is set to become a cornerstone of education in Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, providing a modern and inspiring learning environment for future generations.
