From October 23 to 27, 2023, PT Decorient Partaya Indonesia took center stage at Cargill’s annual Zero Harm Week, an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) program held at Cargill’s Gresik location in East Java, Indonesia. Zero Harm Week is a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing workplace safety awareness and practices.
In a week filled with safety-driven enthusiasm, Decorient’s team enthusiastically engaged in various competitions, including the First Aid Contest, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Contest, Fire Extinguisher Contest, Cleaning & Sanitation Equipment Demonstration, Kudoboard and the RJP Contest. Moreover, all contractors joined in a collective celebration of a remarkable achievement: reaching an impressive milestone of 500,000 safe man-hours without any Lost-Time Incidents (LTIs) on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Decorient’s team made waves at Zero Harm Week, securing the top spot in the SCBA Contest, second place in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Decorient, and a third-place finish in the First Aid Contest. Their accomplishments highlight their unwavering commitment to stringent safety practices and emergency preparedness.
Beyond the competitions, Zero Harm Week also featured a morning exercise session, highlighting the importance of physical well-being in the workplace. The spirit and collaboration displayed during this event reflect the strong safety culture that Cargill and all participating contractors have cultivated.
Zero Harm Week at Cargill Gresik is not just about healthy competition but also about promoting safety awareness and dedication in the workplace. Decorient’s success serves as proof that with hard work, training, and team spirit, we can achieve a safer and better work environment. Let’s hope Zero Harm Week continues to serve as a driving force for promoting safety across industries. “We are all special.”
